Poised and ready for action, this four-strong paramedic bike team in Ottawa, is one of many deployed across Canada as part of a rapid response for dealing with incidents and casualties throughout the capital. Roll out the barrel of laughs! Al Murray, or the Pub Landlord, visited Camp Bastion in Afghanistan at the end of April to meet the troops and provide some light relief during two live stand-up comedy sets. The entertainers met as many uniformed personnel as possible in a bid to boost morale, reminding them that the home fires are still burning in the UK.
