On your bike! Last week, Essex Firefighters Paul and Dave from Clacton-on-Sea got on their tandem for this wonderful shot, and the engine’s not coming this time. They’ll be cycling every one of the 60 miles of 11 May’s Tour de Tendring event on a cosy tandem. And yes, they’ll be braving the low hills, quiet roads and sea views wearing their full firefighters’ gear, all in aid of the charity SWAN UK. SWAN has built a community for families of children with undiagnosed genetic conditions, and provides vital support and information.
