How to Keep Her Interested... Or Admit That It's Over

It’s a common belief that men are the first ones to break a marriage. They have a harder time maintaining a monogamous relationship than women. However, this concept is increasingly getting old and now there is no way to know which gender is more prone to monogamy.

In fact, now it has become circumstantial. Studies show couples with different credentials (i.e. job status or level of education) have a harder time staying true to each other than people who have a similar education and employment background. In any case, how can you keep her interested to make it work? Or if you can’t keep her interested, how do you end it?

How to Keep Her Interested

There is obviously no series of steps that will help you keep your woman interested in you. Every person is different and wants different things out of their relationships. If you find she is bored with you, there is not much you can do about it. Changing yourself to be someone she approves of is not going to last long. Eventually, there will come a day when you won’t be able to take it anymore. The best way to go about it is to ask her straight up. Beating around the bush or second guessing yourself is not going fix anything. If you feel things are not working, communicate these feelings to your partner. You never know that if you talk it out, you might actually be able to salvage something. Discuss how you can, as a couple, improve your relationship. It is high time you openly discuss all problem areas.

How to Admit It’s Over

If talking about your problems allows the two of you to come up with a solution, then great! You were successfully able to save your relationship. But if you find she is refusing to communicate and she tends to put it off to a later time, maybe you need to admit that it’s over. The faster you accept the reality of the situation, the faster you will be able to move on and start the healing process. It is obviously a delicate situation but the only way out is being honest and realizing the situation as it is. You have to face your worst fears rather than avoiding them. A good way to know for sure if you want to end the relationship is by spending some time apart. When you stop seeing each other for a while, for a month, at least, it will help you realize your real feelings for each other. If you miss each other, it means your relationship still stands a chance. If not, then it’s best to part ways and to accept that it’s over. There is no point in pursuing a relationship which has no chance of working in the future. You are better off moving on and getting over it.
