How many times can you go through life missing out on some pretty monumental occasions in your loved one’s life? You might miss your brother’s graduation.
You might miss out on the birth of your first child. You might miss your grandfather’s 90-years birthday. These are situations that service members know could happen when they sign up to become a military person, but they do so anyway because they feel a strong sense of duty of protecting and serving this incredible nation of ours.
With that said, this video a young woman steeled herself in knowing that her best friend, her brother, would not be attending her wedding day because he was deployed overseas. The bride, Sarah, cried on her mother’s lap the night before, wishing he was there. Little did Sarah know that the next day, her wedding day, she would receive a surprise of a lifetime. Her brother was granted a one day leave so that he could be there to watch her get married.
It looks like the whole family was in on the surprise. Watch this tearful reunion as sister welcomes her brother home. We dare you not to get emotional! We will say that Sarah’s wedding day will certainly be one that she remembers forever, and not just because she got married!
